The regency of Minahasa , is one of the part from 6 regency of north Celebes which geographies put on between 0°25’-1°58’ NL and 124° 20 -125° 20 EL The position of the Minahasa geographies border on :
On the north side : Celebes Sea and Sangihe Regency.
On the east side : Molucas Ocean and Bitung City.
On the south side : Molucas Ocean
On the west side : Bolaang Mongondow Regency and Manado City.

Minahasa regency covers an area 4.168 km2 which consist on : 38 district and 528 village, according to the government by observation, people use it the land has several kind of use and those are, house yard 10.379 acre, farmer 96.725 acre, savannah 2.981 acre, swamp, 2.774 acre, fish pond, 449 acre, pond 1.122 acre, rice field 18.759acre, the land not use it by people about 22.223 acre, the forest use it by the peoples 16.784 acre, the forest own by the government, 41.742 acre, farmer 147.385 acre, and the others is 21.040 acre.

Minahasa regency mostly on the high place between 101-500 meters from the sea surface (44,07 %), then also from the sea (35,30%),
0-100 m (15,95%), then most from 1000 meters from the sea surface it’s about 4,68%, then the slope of the land is : 0-2° (14,90%), 3-15° (27.34%), 16-40° (41,69%) and the slope of the land up to 40° (16,07 %).

The geologic condition mostly on the area volcanic and then most of them more erupted
Then become like the cone shaped volcano but still active, but almost nor active, decorated in the middle of Minahasa, when the volcano has been erupted come out the sticky lava, all the volcanic material make shaped like mountain (otogenesa) become morphology hills and mountain with different relief topographic which is quite big
Commonly Minahasa regency has 14 volcanos around, but just had 3 active volcanos and that is, Mount Soputan (1.790 m), Mount Lokon (1.580 m), Mahawu (1.371m) which is become from upper course from the 12 big rivers and also has 7 lakes.

Soil type usually Aluvial, Regosal, Andosal, Litosol, Mediteran, Posolik and Latosol.

The temperature mostly between 21° until 30° C, humidity is 86,8%, Illumination by the sun is 59,6 %, amount of rainfall in this area for the ten years back mostly is 3.138,6 mm/year.
